clearing out for the new

Sort of like spring-cleaning…time to clear out the old, make way for the New.

Looking at the snow sitting on the hilltop and bathing in the warm sun of winter below, the last stretch before spring…

…time to clear out…

Why are we reminded that there is a spring-cleaning coming, just upon us, or a change in the mood we are used to since the cold season started a few months ago…

Why is this sensation there?

As if there is an innate feeling that parting with the old can help us to bring in the new… The new what?

Have you been working on something for months or preparing a long project? Maybe your health that has requested more concentration or preparation…

Is it a natural sensation to feel the change of mood, as in the changing season, and know that it is time for Change

There I was after the chemotherapy treatments and, in addition, behind me was the March flight to London and the Eurotrain to Paris…

…and here I was, into the next season and I’m looking at the shelves in my cupboard…

Browsing over the cotton print shirt that I wore when my back was itching during the treatments, momentarily visualizing the many tubes of intensive cream that calmed my agitated torso…looking at the breathable viscose blouse of pinstriped brown on white …

…it was time to clear out the old, bless the garments as I gave them away…

…those articles giving me such help during a time of full concentration on “my walking the corridor from healing to full health”… and now allowing the new sensation to come into my life…

Releasing the old behavior like letting it go…and allowing the new, accepting the new sensation that requests to enter my awareness…

Change, all change is good, remembering saying this to myself and believing it too!

Why is it that we have a sensation that it is time to let go?

Have we had this feeling come over us before? Maybe we weren’t aware of this indescribable feeling that came over us?

Was it last spring during spring-cleaning?

Could it be a sense of feeling that the world goes thru, whether asked for… or not?

How will you react when this sensation of wanting newness appears in your awareness?

Will you recognize this? Accept this? This…

…Change…

Clearing out the old and making place for the new…in your life…

Here’s to You and to your health.. to your Health, Life and your Growth

There is Life after chemotherapy, or after a long illness and the lengthy recuperation…

Make place for the new sensation, a sense of change in your mood and allow the old behavior to say good bye… like blessing your shirt on the way to recycle bin, thanking it for all the good moments it gave you…it is time to welcome the New
