Conventional-Alternative Medicine Part I

It came to me as …they both think they are right.

Why can’t Conventional and Alternative medicine work together?

What list of advantages for joining hands are not obvious?

What’s the problem here?

When we feel that conventional medicine is not giving results, then we look for another option.

Why is it so?

How is it that some people just throw up their hands and go looking for other outlets to relieve stress, ease the pain in the shoulder or that nagging low back pain?

Could it be that the first option to try is Conventional Medicine as the most trust worthy?

Why do we think like that?

Maybe you have a close relative in the medical profession and you look up to him as the expert in disease?

If Pharmacology is based on the all-knowing information to solve our aches, pains, distress, then why is it that we look for other options when these ailments don’t disappear?

Could there be something else that could help us…and then it will get better and perhaps go away?

I am often baffled by the academically educated pharmacologist, doctor or expert of the Conventional Western medical practice…

Dr. Weiss M.D., author of “Miracles Happen”, a psychiatrist and expert in hypnosis regression, recalling our past lives, documented the subconscious hidden stories of his patients’ souls as they reincarnated for centuries!

His discovery that there was more to results of ailments than what he knew of in the Modern Medicine empirical knowledge, even surprised the sceptics who found him. Those participants who just happened to show up at his conferences and while under Dr. Weiss’s hypnotic instructions, had discovered worlds within themselves.

Making awareness of hidden patterns in centuries of stories that his participants believed to be true, from within themselves and under hypnosis, was sometimes enough to transform illness to health.

Dr. Weiss helped his patients see the truth in their beliefs through the personal experience of what centuries held closed within them. They, then, were able to forgive and understand in a new way.

When the rational mind finally meets up with the soul feeling there is finally peace, as in peace of mind.

Brandon Bays, author of “The Journey” documents her healing process and precisely illustrates the importance of the campfire for asking and receiving forgiveness from others and from ourselves.

Once again, documenting that you are the expert about your medical case.

Dr. Weiss explains in his book that participants experienced the source of imbedded pain and fears and the awareness of the subconscious misery in their individual memories. This gave them a new understanding like a new way of getting to the bottom of their complaints.

Dr. Michael Newton, PhD, author of “Journey of Souls” specializing in hypnotherapy discovered after years of treating patients that the documented journey of the souls of his patients, sitting right there in front of him and under hypnosis, held the answer to their suffering, fears, and pains. All they had to do was to agree to meet these past experiences, become aware of the existence. It turned out that there was a lot to be learned by the patient from these soul journeys.

These writers of healing processing and hypnotherapy understood how these long ago experiences, sometimes ancient, and sense of feeling were carrying out into our lives today.

As if imprints left in our memory cells, deep down inside of us. “The Diamond Cutter”, by author Geshe Michael Roach, refers to these imbedded behavior patterns that affect us daily.

Why are there detailed documentation, empirical data on meeting the soul as a source of relieving our dis ease, and yet, we hesitate to turn to alternative, body-soul-mind techniques?

The East has looked at the energy within our bodies as a source of healing and advancement for centuries…

Making good energy and releasing old stories is the Age Old Recipe.

Has conventional medical research and scientific statistics misguided our human perception of sickness, pain and suffering on Earth?

Connectivity and Health

“I’m not such a great believer in God but there was definitely something out there”.

His answer to the audience question-who were these people that you met on the trail?

His trek was 3600 kilometers along the Appalachian Trail in the USA and his goal was to walk it in 60 days. Others do the trek in 5 months of walking along the route but he set a trek goal of 60 kilometers per day for 60 days.

In addition to being a school educator, he loved adventure.

The only people that had crossed this area were the American Indians. Supporting his story was his tale about the wonder of nature together with the very careful planning of each step. Every single slippery wet boulder was calculated. Exactly measuring his footing on the narrow trail that was closed in by green forest, hugging the sides of the one man width path.

Explaining the very infrequent meeting with other people and the huge feeling that sets in of loneliness, alone, compared to being so small in the grand bigness of nature. His sense of heaviness disappeared at the same time he fixed his eyes on the sun peeping in thru the dense forest or upon seeing the huge expanse of the plateau before him.

Sometimes he could ask one passerby to pick off the insects that attached to him during his night’s sleep on the ground. With this opportunity arising, he would ask them to pass on a message with his picture to his family email, when arriving in civilization.

He explained the skill in focusing on each decision to take the next step. Evaluating his footing with exact precision, for the entire 60 kilometers, every day.

Being so intense in the moment meant that days could go by when he realized he was totally involved in himself, never thinking of his family out there so far away. He mentioned that his immediate attention was on his survival under the difficult conditions: from the blisters; to the broken rib; to the next meal of 300 calories in an energy packet.

Who were these people you met on the trail? Was the question.

He replied that there was the lost forlorn type that didn’t make eye contact and he just passed them by on the narrow trail never looking back.

Then, he divulged, there were some people who just came out of nowhere!

There was nothing, he reminded us and then, all of a sudden, people appeared in a place where the American Indian had wondered in the wilderness.!!

In a matter of fact way, as if he had experienced a uniqueness that everyone could understand, he illustrated with his hand above his head and said ““I’m not such a great believer in God but there was definitely something out there”

Why should this be such a reverberating sentence in his hour long lecture of creeping rodents and snakes, slippery boulders and deep treacherous canyons to cross?

Connectivity! He voiced the innate understanding of human beings that there is something that we cannot define scientifically or see with our eyes but, yes… it exists for a function.

People arriving out of nowhere, taking his picture and sending an email, when they will arrive at internet access.

They fell out of nowhere when he felt this huge sense of aloneness.

When he needed the boost to go onward with his goal.

His message to us in the audience, that the order of the world is not exactly as we think it is, however, it is a sense of something else, intangible and yet impossible to ignore. Some sense of ‘connectivity’ as described in the book “the Diamond Cutter” by Geshe Michael Roach or in Deepak Chopra’s book “Spontaneous Coincidence “.

or as I call it “things don’t Just happen”.

My guests sat in our living room and heard me relating this sentence of his and passed it on by voicing that it was time for her and her husband to leave.

Why does one person pass it by and the other sees it as an opening for achieving great potential?

If an educator, or a counselor could see the great potential of divine order, that things don’t Just happen…can you imagine what their students or clients could get to?

I offer this story to all those who want Health.

To those who have made a choice that this is their unconditional desire and are going to it without wandering from the trail, like the Appalachian trail… taking them to their full potential.

Connectivity, the realization that the order of the universe is connecting between us and what we define as our true Want. That unconditionally, 100% Desire.

We can harness the energy within ourselves to achieve what we TRULY WANT and then, the connectivity will take the implicit and make it explicit and then go into action…the signs will come to us along the way… we just can be aware and accept what is.

To Health and a long life!
