Start at the beginning

Let’s start at the beginning

Did you start to feel discomfort in a part of your body and it just does not go away?

You tried physiotherapy, massages and other techniques to combat the discomfort which might now be full pain…

Can you ignore it?

Is something going on with you that keeps you procrastinating? You just can’t seem to make a decision that will make you comfortable?

What is there inside that pain nagging at you?

How long does it have to be there for you to say-Enough, I have had it, I don’t want it there anymore…

Lets start at the beginning… why is it there at all?

If ignoring it hasn’t helped, then, how about trying to become real familiar with the aching… Like becoming fully aware of it…

If our body is a shell that holds continuous movement of thoughts, attitudes, behaviors and spirit of being, then, why is this annoying feeling there?

What is it asking you for your attention?

The answer lies in this word IT.

Looking at this thing objectively…can we look at IT?

Did you ever find that when you look at something in such minute details, examine it with a magnifier…it becomes something else, new, different?

How about getting inside this pain, become deeply aware it is there and examine it….looking to see it differently…

Deepak Chopra writes in his book “The Healing Self” that inflammation starts from an issue that is blocking our life potential thus giving rise to conventionally known inflammation. As if calling our attention to taking care of it.

When a problem has arisen in your thoughts, do you carry it on and on without getting to the bottom of it? Are you procrastinating a decision, finding excuses for letting it happen, putting the word BUT before each solution, being sceptic about options that other people might suggest to you?

How long will you carry it out in your mind, delaying, harping and battling over it in discussions with a friend or with your self?

Here IT is, the source of your inflammation…

What can we do?

Only if we Want to be a way with it, and come to the solution of the dilemma we find ourselves in ….WANT. Do we WANT to resolve it or choose to have it eat at us? Is there a real, true, binding benefit that gives us the real WANT?

Or, the WANT that opens the light to seeing the benefits?

Can we work on uplifting our attitude, seeing the perspective differently?

Like lifting our selves up…

In his book “The Healing Self” by Deepak Chopra, Chapter Core Beliefs, writes of mindful techniques for committing oneself to inner transformation… through awareness we can clear the mind. Allow yourself to reach a state where anger, fear, stress, agitated feelings don’t exist… awareness…  Like putting some light into your system.
